Growing up i've always been surrounded by cats.
As kids we always had cats in the house, even now my dear mum still has 3. I don't think she's ever lived without them. Same for my Nanna, every time we went to visit we would always bring a new toy or some treats for Sam or old Ginge.
One thing that always struck me about cats is how each one is so entirely different from another. It's very hard to describe to a non-cat owner, but i'm sure you know what i'm talking about. Every one has a very distinct personality and behaves just like a person.
You'd think something like a generic mouse toy would please any cat, but that is never the case: Sam would've gone nuts after it, but Ginge would look at you like they've been offended! Sometimes they will change their mind from day to day!
You've got to love this about them though. It's like that saying goes: Dogs have masters, cats have servants. Its very true. They're only happy if you "get them".
That's why I started Arkalie with the mind of variety: to get gifts to suit any kind of cat personality. From ferocious little animals, to the lazy Garfield who just wants to doze in the sun all day.
